Prof. Zhang Jing is the deputy chief engineer of CSNS.

Prof. Zhang graduated from Xi’an Jiaotong University in 1990. From 1999 to 2000, he went to CERN as the visitor researcher and worked in the powering group. During 2005 to 2006, he paid short-time visits to ISIS and J-PARC. His research field is powering the accelerators and magnets. He is an expert full of working experiences in designing the power system for accelerators. In 2016, he was named one of the CAS Key Technology Talents.
