Prof. Liang Tianjiao is a senior researcher of the Institute of High Energy Physics, Chinese Academy of Sciences and now the Deputy Director of CSNS.

He has been engaged in the research of neutron physics and neutron technology for many years. He has participated in the research of spallation neutron source and boron neutron capture therapy in China. He has published more than 70 papers in academic journals and conferences. His contribution to the CSNS project is on the completion of the neutron physics calculation and design of the spallation neutron source target station, and determine the physical parameters and design scheme of the target station. He also led the team to complete the development of the neutronic performance measurement equipment of the target station and the proton imaging system before the target.
