The 2018 annual engineering construction conference of LHAASO was held at the Institute of Frontier and Interdisciplinary Science of Shandong University, January 3 to 4. Over 60 experts and researchers from more than 10 scientific research institutions and universities, including the Institute of High Energy Physics (IHEP) of the Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS),  University of Science and Technology of China, Tsinghua University, Shandong University, Sichuan University, Yunnan University, Southwest Jiaotong University, Hebei Normal University, and the National Space Science Center of the Chinese Academy of Sciences attended the meeting.
