The first meeting of the Committee on Engineering Science & Technology of LHAASO was held at the Institute of High Energy Physics on the morning of January 22, 2017. Prof. Peng Liangqiang, a member of the Bureau of Facility Support and Budget of Chinese Academy of Sciences, together with members of the Committee on Engineering Science & Technology of LHAASO and members of the LHAASO Project Management Office attended the meeting. The meeting was presided over by Prof. Zhao Zhengguo, a CAS member and director of the Engineering Science & Technology Committee.
