A four-person delegation from the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Tajikistan, headed by its president Rahimi Farhod, visited IHEP on March 8. Wei Long, deputy Director of IHEP, together with researchers from Division for Particle Astrophysics, hosted the delegation.

Wei Long, on behalf of IHEP, extended his warm welcome to the delegation and introduced the history and research status of IHEP. The delegation introduced the research fields and future plans of Tajik Academy of Sciences. Both sides discussed in details on topics ranging from space missions, cosmic ray study, isotope reactor research to collaboration on talent training.

After the discussions, the guests visited the Key Laboratory of Particle Astrophysics at IHEP.
