An expert review meeting on HEPS-TF feasibility studies was held at IHEP by the HEPS-TF Project Headquarters on July 15, 2015. 

Wang Yifang, Director of IHEP, made opening remarks at the meeting, in which he commented that HEPS would be another national mega-science facility undertaken by IHEP after the CSNS, which concerns the future development of the institute. He expressed his warm welcome to the review experts and assured that IHEP would try its best to support the Project. 

The expert review panel, headed by Academicians Fang Shouxian and Wang Haizhou, included 21 experts from the University of Science and Technology of China, the Beijing University, the Shanghai Jiaotong University, CAS Institute of Applied Physics, Institute of Modern Physics, Institute of Physics, Institute of High Energy Physics and U.S. Carnegie Institution of Washington. The experts listened to the reports and reviewed the feasibility studies of the HEPS-TF accelerator, beam-lines and experimental stations. 

Discussions and exchanges were made between the review experts and the Project staff. The review fully confirmed the future plans of HEPS, and the specifications of HEPS-TF and its implementation plans. The panel suggested that enough personnel should be involved in the HEPS-TF Project, ensuring its timely completion. 

In his remarks, Qin Qing, Project Manager of HEPS-TF thanked the experts for their positive conclusions and suggestions. He assured the review panel and the meeting that the Project would soon start its preliminary design and would try everything it can to ensure the schedule and quality of HEPS-TF. 

Peng Liangqiang from the Bureau of Facility Support and Budget of CAS, Jiang Xiaoming from the Beijing Advanced Sciences and Innovation Center of CAS, Sun Dongbai from the University of Science and Technology Beijing and leaders of IHEP and HEPS-TF Project also attended the above activities.
