The Meeting on Mid-term Supervision of the ADS Proton Linac Injector I Under the CAS Pioneer Initiative Project "Future Advanced Nuclear Fission Energy – Accelerator Driven Subcritical System (ADS)" was held at IHEP on July 6, 2015. Members of the Supervision Panel, IHEP leaders Pan Weimin, Luo Xiao'an and the ADS Project staff attended the meeting. 

On behalf of IHEP, Luo Xiao'an gave welcome remarks, in which he expressed his thanks to the Supervision Panel and its members for their supervision and guidance. 

Representing the ADS Project, Pan Weimin reported on the progress of the ADS Proton Linac Injector I. He introduced the tasks from 2014 to 2015 and summarized the status of those tasks. According to him, many difficulties have been overcome and many breakthroughs have been achieved, including the performance upgrade of the Spoke012 & Spoke021 cavities. Moreover, the project team is facing challenges, such as 325MHz RFQ and beam measurement techniques. 

Members of the panel raised questions and had discussions with the project team. The panel hoped that the project should strengthen cooperation among the ADS teams and with institutions both at home and abroad and establish a sound operation mechanism, trying its best to finish all the tasks in different phases. After the meeting, members of the panel were shown ADS Project Hall No.1 for beam test and Hall No.2 for super-conducting cavity assembly and measurement.
