CSNS Linac MEBT vacuum system passed leakage test on March 31, 2015, which marks the successful completion of the MEBT installation.

So far, the installation of all the linac front end equipments has been accomplished. MEBT is the key component of CSNS linac. Careful preparations were made before the installation that included magnets, focusing cavity, vacuum, beam measurement, cables and so on.

With the equipment installation, water and power sources were also installed and trial-commissioned together with the equipments. The trial shows that everything is fine. A firm foundation has been laid for the next-step commissioning.
