On June 21st, China Spallation Neutron Source (CSNS) Project invited experts to test the CSNC/RCS injection horizontal bump 

the prototype

magnet prototype at the Institute of High Energy Physics (IHEP). 

After hearing the design and test reports and witnessing an on-site test, the expert group concluded that CSNC/RCS injection horizontal bump magnet prototype met the strict physical requirements, its structure and technology reached the advanced domestic level, some technologies, like coil fixing and insulation, were applied for the first time.

Experts were mainly from the Institute of Modern Physics and the Institute of High Energy Physics, CAS.
