The China Spallation Neutron Source (CSNS) annual report meeting on the progress of the accelerator system was held from December 2nd to 3rd. Reports on the progress of the first and second phases of the pre-fabrication were made, covering all the sub-systems as accelerator physics, front end, drift tube linac, linac RF, beam measurement, power supply, ring RF, control and vacuum etc.

In the year of 2009, great progress has been made. The feasibility study report was finished and reviewed, the geological survey started, currently the technical design and land for construction are in the process of review and approval.
