On November 24th, the first coordinating meeting on geological survey for China Spallation Neutron Source (CSNS) was held in Dalang Town, Dongguan City, Guangdong Province. The detailed geological survey plans were discussed at the meeting, and it was decided that the on-site survey would start from November 25th to December 31st, lasting forty days.

After the meeting, an on-site inspection was made to discuss the design of the landscape, drainage system and the entrance road, etc.

Present at the meeting were officials and experts from CAS, local government and local engineering design institutes.
