2013-11-25

Scientists discussed the physics significance, the hardware and software of the antineutrino detectors, and the upgrade scheme of the detecting ability of the JUNO experiment from Nov. 6 to 7 in Kaiping, Guangdong.

Twelve reports covering the neutrino mass hierarchy, the unitarity of the neutrino mixing matrix and the study of supernova neutrinos, geo-neutrinos, atmospheric neutrinos, and sterile neutrinos were delivered in the meeting. Experts made invaluable suggestions to the experimental goals and the draft of JUNO physics report.
