Visa Application
If you plan to visit China, for most of the non-Chinese citizens, in addition to a valid passport, you will need to get a visa for China. For more detailed visa information please visit the website of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in China.


How to Get to IHEP
IHEP locates in the west of Beijing Municipal City. There are two airports in Beijing namely Beijing Capital International Airport (PEK) and Beijing Nanyuan Airport (NAY). Located in Shuiyi District, Beijing Capital International Airport is the biggest airport in Asia.


Wireless Network
Wireless network access is available in most of IHEP campus. IHEP provides three ways for visitors to make registration. No1: Email registration. Please fill in the following form and send it to the email address of your contact person.


IHEP has established cooperative ties with several hotels and guest house right on or near the campus. IHEP guests could choose either of the accommodation sites and enjoy the best services at a negotiated price.


Beijing is China's best city for food lovers. No other Chinese city provides a greater variety of restaurants. And once you get over the shock of strange flavors, most travelers find the real Chinese food astronomically better than its Western corruption.


The IHEP library has a building area of 2300 square meters, and covers about 130, 000 books, over 160 printed periodicals, more than 100 databases and more than 700,000,000 e-resources items.


Clinic & Hospital
Here we provide nearby pharmacies, clinic or hospital for you. You may buy medicine, have the body check or go to see the doctor when you feel sick.


Transportation in Beijing
Beijing is a well-known transportation hub in northern China with a well-developed transportation system. As an inland city, there are several methods of transportation from which to choose to get to Beijing: plane, train and long-distance bus.


Weather in Beijing
The capital’s seasons are very distinct, each has their own inviting views. The city can be visited in any season, with autumn probably the most pleasant. Winter can be bitingly cold; the thermometer dips from late October onwards.
